We are seeking a talented Web Content Technician is responsible for maintaining, updating, and optimizing content across websites and digital platforms. This role ensures that all web content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with the organization's branding, tone, and strategic objectives. The technician collaborates closely with web developers, content creators, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely publication and quality control of digital content.
Responsibilities
* Create, edit, and publish engaging web content that aligns with the company's brand voice and objectives.
* Develop and implement content strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings through effective SEO practices.
* Manage social media accounts by crafting compelling posts and engaging with followers to build a strong online community.
* Utilise content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress to maintain and update website content efficiently.
* Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop.
* Conduct keyword research and analyse website performance using Google Analytics to inform content decisions.
* Write persuasive copy for various marketing channels, including email marketing campaigns and B2B marketing materials.
* Oversee the production of multimedia content such as videos and photography to enhance web presence.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web content creation, social media marketing, and digital marketing strategies.
Skills
* Proficient in SEO techniques and tools for optimising web content.
* Strong knowledge of social media marketing strategies and platforms.
* Experience with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
* Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic web editing tasks.
* Excellent graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop.
* Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
* Understanding of content strategy principles and best practices in content marketing.
* Proficient in Google Analytics for tracking website performance metrics.
* Experience in photography and video editing is an advantage.
