Standard Work Hours
1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
Responsibilities
* Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machinery and equipment control
* Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
* Install electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics or blueprints
* Possess knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
* Perform basic mechanical repairs
* Perform work of lower classification levels as needed
* May direct work of others in lower classifications
* Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures
* Install and monitor performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement
* Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions
* Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, equipment, wiring, and services (including panels, breakers, and conduit)
* Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits
* Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
* Perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader
Qualifications
* Two-year Associate degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
* Ability to use a computer to search for parts and enter work into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Position Requirements
* Ability to stand for long periods, sit, use manual dexterity, stoop, and bend
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds as verified by a pre-employment physical
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

MUST HAVE:
* Associate degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of related experience
* Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits
* Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
* Working knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
* Ability to perform mechanical repairs
* Experience working from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions
* Proficiency with CMMS systems for part searches and work documentation
