Key Responsibilities
*
Set up, program, and operate Amada CNC press brakes
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Select and set appropriate tooling for complex bends
*
Program press brakes using Amada controls
*
Carry out first-off inspections and make necessary adjustments
*
Ensure parts are produced to correct tolerances and quality standards
*
Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
*
Work safely in line with health & safety procedures
*
Liaise with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production issues
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Programmer / Operator
*
Strong experience working with Amada press brakes
*
Confident programming at the machine (or offline)
*
Ability to read and understand complex fabrication drawings
*
Experience bending various gauges and materials
*
Good attention to detail and quality awareness
*
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
