What you’ll do
* Provide a professional mail service, including sorting, distributing, and franking mail, in line with Service Level Agreements.
* Support catering operations when required, including restocking refreshment areas and assisting in the café shop.
* Operate tills, including cash handling and cashing up, following training.
* Follow Profit Protection and security procedures at all times.
* Report maintenance issues, equipment faults, hazards, or risks immediately.
* Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, in accordance with training and COSHH guidelines.
* Ensure correct use of safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs).
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear a clean, ironed uniform and PPE as provided.
* Participate in mandatory training covering Health & Safety, Food Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, and cleaning methods.
* Respond to customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating to the Front of House Manager when necessary.
* Assist with furniture movement, meeting room set-ups, and ad hoc tasks as required.
* Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
* Demonstrate flexibility to cover additional hours for sickness or holiday cover.
* Engage in team meetings, contributing ideas to enhance services.
