The Governors wish to appoint a Student Welfare and Attendance Assistant. The successful applicant will be responsible for administering First Aid support as appropriate to the pupils of the school and where necessary the staff, as well as to support, monitor and improve pupil attendance and wellbeing. It is desirable that applicants hold a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work or equivalent and training will be provided for applicants who do not hold this qualification. You will work closely with the House Heads and will be based in the school’s Pastoral Office alongside the Attendance Officer. If you would prefer to work less than 37 hours a week, please indicate on your application form your preferred hours and days of work. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
