Are you interest in innovation and service initiatives in outreach mental health work for children/young people?

Barnardo's Black Country are excited to have an opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious project worker to join our innovative mental health and well-being service for acute hospital Emergency Departments. working in the community and liaising with one of the 4 Black Country Hospitals. Our service is designed to support children/Young people and families who present at Emergency departments with mental health/emotional well-being needs. Our outreach and intervention based models are designed to work holistically with the family to improve outcomes for the child and family.

As part of a committed and enthusiastic team, this is a great opportunity for an individual wanting to develop their knowledge across mental health/direct support/family work.

1. Wanting to develop your experience/skill set/knowledge in Mental Health and CAMHS based work
2. Keen to work with an innovative and outcome focussed service design
3. Ambitious around service growth across the Health system
4. Wanting to work across the Community through outreach work with a allocated caseload and supportive team

This may be the perfect role for you.

Hours can be flexible across the working week with up to 37 hours available (we will consider applications for 30 hours or more). we can accept internal secondments if agreed by your current manager.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
