Business Development Manager
Location: Central Belt, Scotland (Hybrid - site based in Kinross)

This is a long-established Scottish business with over 30 years of experience in pumps, water treatment, and filtration systems. They’ve recently opened a new Service Centre in Kinross and are now looking to grow their presence across the Central Belt.
This new position offers the chance to make a real impact; combining account management with business development, backed by a well-stocked warehouse, strong technical support, and a reputation for reliability.
The Role
* Manage existing customer relationships and develop new ones across the Central Belt
* Visit sites, understand customer requirements, produce quotes, and follow through to delivery
* Work across a broad range of products including pumps, filtration, UV, dosing systems, and pipework
* Mix of repeat, more transactional distribution business and more complex project work
* Hybrid role with flexibility to manage your own time, supported by the Kinross team
The Person
* Experienced in selling technical or engineered products, ideally in pumps, water systems, or similar
* Comfortable working independently and building long-term relationships
* Practical, proactive, and commercially aware
* Confident engaging with customers in industrial, commercial, or construction environments
