Finance Manager (Progression to Financial Controller)
Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth, B Corp-certified business services group to recruit a Finance Manager.
Robert Half is working with an innovative, purpose-driven organisation that supports over 500,000 customers across a range of corporate services, including company formation, legal support, accountancy services, and virtual offices. The business is expanding quickly and is looking for a Finance Manager who can play a key role in strengthening and scaling its finance function.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants clear progression towards a Financial Controller position.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will partner closely with the Head of Finance, overseeing financial reporting, controls, cashflow, budgeting, and compliance. You will improve processes, optimise systems, and contribute to the organisation's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
* Oversee day-to-day accounting activity including AP/AR, payroll, and expenses
* Maintain strong financial controls
* Manage rolling cashflow forecasting
* Support budgeting and provide insights to leadership
* Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
* Drive improvements in finance systems and processes
About You
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2-3 years PQE
* Experience in a scale-up, SME, or fast-growing business
* Strong UK GAAP and statutory reporting experience
* Proficient in Xero and Excel
* Analytical, detail-focused, and hands-on
* Comfortable challenging information and improving processes
