We are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Helmsley who need a confident and experienced Preschool Lead to step in from April. This is a time sensitive opportunity, ideal for someone ready to secure a role for the summer term.

About the Role
You will lead the preschool provision, creating a safe, engaging and inspiring environment where young children can thrive. This is a key role within the school, offering both responsibility and the chance to shape early learning experiences during a crucial stage of development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age appropriate activities
Lead daily routines and maintain a well organised, safe setting
Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
Supervise indoor and outdoor play with a focus on safety
Track and assess development, keeping accurate records
Lead group activities that support creativity and early learning
Work closely with colleagues to deliver a strong Early Years curriculumRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status is essential
PGCE, BA in Education or equivalent
Experience in Early Years, nursery or preschool settings
Strong understanding of child development
A nurturing, proactive and enthusiastic approach
