Main duties of the job

Role Summary:

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds? As a Health Visitor in our team, you2ll play a pivotal role in delivering universal, enhanced, and intensive health services that uplift and empower communities across HMR.

In this collaborative environment, you2ll work alongside a dedicated team of Health Visitors and skilled professionals, ensuring a safe and nurturing service for all preschool children and their families. Person Specification


Registration and qualifications

* Registered Specialist Community Health Public Nurse (SCPHN) (1)
* Registered Nurse or Midwife on Part 1 of the NMC register (1)
* Evidence of post-registration development relevant to the post (1)
* Recent Professional/clinical knowledge acquired through CPD
* Teaching and assessing experience
* V100/150 Prescriber


Knowledge

* Knowledge of recent legislation impacting on Community Health Care and Health Visiting practice.
* Displays a good clinical knowledge which is based on research evidence.
* Demonstrates an understanding of the Early help assessment


Skills

* Evidence of leadership skills
* Demonstrate ability to work within multi-agency/professional setting.
* Demonstrates the development of innovative working and new development
* Able to analyse and make the decisions in relation to patient risk and care in complex cases
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
* Full UK driving license with willingness to use own car for work purposes
