Are you an experienced Children’s Nurse looking for a new challenge? This role offers the chance to work within an award‑winning team with excellent staff survey results.
Responsibilities
* Case‑manage and care for children with chronic or acute nursing needs outside of hospital, working within a nurse‑led team.
* Provide highly skilled, outcome‑focused clinical and non‑clinical care to support children and their families so they can live, participate and achieve in all aspects of life, at home and in their community.
* Support junior team members by developing their skills and completing staff appraisals.
* Teach parents, carers and other health professionals and mentor pre‑ and post‑registered students.
* Collaborate with clinical nurse specialists, Consultant Paediatricians and the wider team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
* Work full time (37.5 hours per week) during a service that runs 9‑5, seven days a week, with some weekend and bank holiday duties.
Qualifications
* Registered Children’s Nurse.
* Motivated, forward‑thinking and with strong professional knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise, work independently and as part of a team.
