Job Summary & Purpose
The focus of this position is to deliver real options in the form of power generation and energy storage projects that support the corporation’s sustainability goals. This role manages the delivery of utility scale renewable projects, ensuring project cost and schedule objectives are met while achieving excellence in safety and quality. Responsibilities include oversight of execution stages, leadership of cross‑functional teams, risk management, and coordination with contractors and regulators.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead project team to execute renewable projects according to corporate standards and the Entergy Stage Gate process.
* Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, documentation, and controls for scope, schedule, quality, cost, risk, and contracts.
* Prepare and present status reports and presentations to management, making timely decisions on issues that impact performance.
* Support regulators and utility partners in project development and certification.
* Create and execute contracting strategy, support contract negotiations, and manage contracts in execution.
* Promote safe behavior and adherence to company safety rules.
* Implement inclusion and belonging initiatives across the project team.
Minimum Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
* Experience: 8+ years in project management.
* Knowledge & Skills: Expert in project management fundamentals; practical application of engineering science to power generation, including design, construction, commissioning, and operations. Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Certificates (desired): Project Management Professional (PMP).

Employees may be required to work additional hours, in alternate locations, or perform additional duties during storms, outages, or emergencies. Exempt employees are not eligible for overtime pay for such duties.
