Henllan Bakery is one of the UK's leading independent Craft Wholesale bakers. We are looking for a skilled Driver to join our growing team.
The successful person will form an integral part of the Transport Department, working together to provide excellent customer service. This role is ideally suited to a semi retired person.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To start with, you will be supported with training for your route, typically just over a week.
* A confident driver with experience.
* Have a clean UK driving license.
* Be a safe and diligent driver adhering to the highway code and minimizing damage to company vehicles.
* Your shift will generally start at around 10:00pm so your late mornings and afternoons will be your own.
* You will also enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver you'll be given delivery notes, from which you'll load your vehicle with our bakery products.
* Your route for the day will be pre set
* Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service, that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations and on occasion, be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand.
* You will work a defined rota. Those mornings being Monday night to Friday night into Saturday morning including Bank Holidays.
* Must have Class 1 Driving capabilities.
Your Rota
10pm start Monday. 5 hours shift daily to Friday pm including Bank Holidays.
30 hours per week
You will also be a cover driver for other routes which could be a short to no notice and involve a 11 hour shift.
