* What you will do:
* You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who will mentor and guide you, while studying towards a nationally recognised Painter and Decorator apprenticeship. Specifically, you will:
* Learn how to prepare and finish internal and external surfaces to a professional standard.
* Ensure maximum productivity ensuring work has been carried out effectively and efficiently.
* Follow agreed targets and objectives with regards to the role.
* Develop and maintain good levels of communication with all contract team members and operatives.
* Learn from your experiences.
* Ensure strict compliance with company and legislative requirements.
* Ensure the satisfaction of the customer by having a fixed first-time approach to all jobs.
* Assist the Supervisors and other operatives to ensure the working environment is compliant with all Health & Safety matters.
* What we are looking for:
* Minimum qualification requirement of GCSE English and GCSE Maths or a good standard of education.
* A real interest in painting, decorating and property maintenance.
* A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
* A commitment to learning, growing and making a difference.
* Ability to listens and act on feedback.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
