Safeguarding Assistant – Required to start in September 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks – Monday to Thursday 08.30am to 16.30pm and Friday 08.30am to 16.00pm
Salary: Single Status Grade 6, £25,993 per annum
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Safeguarding Assistant to join our dedicated safeguarding team.
You will work with the safeguarding team to support staff to safeguard the school community and promote students’ welfare. You will also assist the safeguarding team with mental health issues, signposting services and ensuring the team are fully informed regarding any student welfare issues.
Some key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining and updating accurate safeguarding records through myconcern
* Support and liaise with pastoral teams, outside agencies and other professionals
* Gather information from students and record this promptly and accurately
* Communicate with parents/carers
