Our client is an established Tier 1 supplier for the defence industry, working out of their purpose-built facility which supports the full lifecycle for their product range.
As well as offering a technically challenge product line with the opportunity of project ownership and working cross functionally, they have worked tirelessly to create and maintain a great culture and work ethic within the business.
Job Responsibilities
* Take the lead on multidisciplinary projects requiring optical, electro-optical or laser capabilities
* Develop system and sub-system requirements
* Full Product Lifecycle involvement, product design phase, inclusive of manufacturing
* Verification and validation planning and testing
Skill Required
* Engineering Degree or Equivalent
* Ideally worked with optronic products (not a deal breaker)
* Product Manufacturing background is a must
* System design experience with mechanical, electronic, and controls
* Candidate must be able to obtain SC Level Clearance
* Ideally coming from the defence industry (not a deal breaker)
Compensation & Other Benefits
* £50,000 to £60,000 per annum and 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
