Senior Credit / Investment Analyst – CLO, Leveraged Loans & High Yield Bonds

Pearse Professionals are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit / Investment Analyst to join a leading European fund. The successful candidate will work within the investment team, executing leveraged loan, CLO, and high-yield bond strategies. You will play a key role in the analysis, underwriting, and execution of transactions, working closely with portfolio managers to deliver investment recommendations and drive portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Underwrite and analyse leveraged loans, CLO tranches, and high-yield bonds across European and select global issuers
* Conduct in-depth credit analysis, financial modelling, and scenario testing to support investment decisions
* Execute trades and support portfolio allocation decisions in line with fund strategy and risk parameters
* Engage directly with portfolio managers to develop investment ideas, relative value analysis, and sector insights
* Monitor existing portfolio exposures, identifying opportunities or risks in real-time
* Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for internal committees
Requirements:
* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in CLO, leveraged loan, or high-yield bond investment; ideally from a buy-side fund in Europe
* Strong financial statement analysis, modelling, and credit assessment skills
* Knowledge of structured credit products (CLOs, ABS, CMBS) is advantageous
* Experience working in investment execution roles with direct PM interaction
* Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly
* CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
