A long-established and successful business based in Malton is currently looking for a Full-Time Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time position (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours; part‑time is also possible for the right candidate). On offer is a competitive salary of up to £30,000 along with a great range of benefits.
Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day transactional finance tasks, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
* Processing and posting invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
* Performing bank reconciliations and reconciling supplier statements.
* Assisting with cash allocation and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Supporting the finance function and providing general administrative support when required.
Qualifications
* Experienced in transactional finance with good working knowledge of Xero, Sage, and Excel.
* Highly organised, accurate, and confident managing routine accounting processes.
* A team player with a positive attitude and an approachable manner.
* Proactive and able to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
Based in Malton, this excellent opportunity is easily commutable from Norton, Pickering, Scarborough, York, and the surrounding areas. The office offers free on‑site parking and is also accessible by public transport.
