We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a vibrant, well-resourced secondary school located in the heart of Oxford. Role Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lessons in Science (KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on subject specialism)
*
Teach engaging lessons that promote enquiry, problem-solving, and independent thinking
*
Work within a dynamic Science department that regularly achieves strong outcomes across all three disciplines
*
Monitor student progress, provide clear and constructive feedback, and use data to inform planning
*
Participate in Science clubs, STEM enrichment activities, and school trips
*
Support the department in driving academic excellence and fostering a love of scientific discovery
Candidate Profile
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
*
Experience teaching Science at secondary level (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)
*
Strong pedagogical understanding and ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learners
*
A commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development
*
Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
