A fast-growing company delivering end-to-end turnkey solutions across the process industries is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead pipework installation projects for water and gas-based systems across the South of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on project leader who thrives in technically demanding environments. You’ll be managing high-value mechanical installations across factory sites in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, building services, food and beverage, semiconductor and manufacturing. Role Responsibilities As Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of industrial pipework projects Key responsibilities include: Managing the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery Reviewing and managing construction contracts Coordinating mechanical design and installation plans Developing and managing project programmes and labour allocation Overseeing workforce productivity across multiple factory sites Procuring materials and equipment to required industry standards Conducting site surveys and managing site setup Ensuring health and safety compliance (RAMS, COSHH) Leading client meetings and managing relationships Monitoring progress, controlling budgets, and handling variations Supervising Contract Managers Delivering final validation and compliance documentation Candidate Requirements To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience managing industrial or mechanical engineering projects In-depth understanding of industrial pipework systems and installations Familiarity with water and gas systems Skilled in contract management, project scheduling, and cost control Excellent leadership and communication abilities Solid organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel across multiple sites in the South The Package Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per year, plus company vehicle
