Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor based in Hatfield - Leading Pharma Location: Hybrid in Hatfield FTE: Permanent (Average tenure over 7 years) Start date: ASAP Rate: Incredible salary and benefits Job Description I am working with a fully integrated pharmaceutical business that operates in two global business groups: oncology and neurology (dementia-related diseases and neurodegenerative diseases). What You Will Do: The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisor is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies and programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure that EHS policies and procedures are communicated to all employees and are integrated into the operational practices of the organization. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate EHS risks. Risk Management: Identify potential EHS hazards and conduct risk assessments. Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified risks. Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Required Knowledge and Experience: Must have 3 years EHS experience from a highly regulated industry with pharmaceutical experience being advantageous. Must have NEBOSH Diploma Must have strong presentation skills, experience of delivering training, need to be confident to deliver training to various levels of stakeholders.
