Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Crawley, West Sussex
This role involves supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) at Telent, providing administrative support to ensure incident resolution and KPI adherence. The position requires working in a 24/7 shift pattern, handling incident tickets, coordinating traffic management, and liaising with customers and utility companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create and manage network incident tickets.
3. Coordinate with technical support, field engineering, and service providers.
4. Update incident tickets regularly and comprehensively.
5. Organize traffic management activities with relevant teams and providers.
6. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
7. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment.
* Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
