Stock control administrator

Stock/Inventory Co-ordinator. Bury £27k - £30k doe + exc benefits!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the purchasing team of a successful and dynamic product distribution company. As a Stock/Inventory Co-ordinator, you will be ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers overseas to their 2 UK and European warehouses by managing stock levels, co-ordinating logistics and maintaining accurate system data. Duties will include;

* Releasing purchase requisitions to maintain stock levels
* Liaising between manufacturing and sales to ensure that stock is dispatched and delivered in line with SLA's
* Maintaining strong supplier relationships
* Producing reports
* Resolving issues
* Moving stock between warehouses according to customer demand
* Working with freight forwarders to arrange shipment of goods to the UK

To be successful, you will have previous experience within stock/inventory control. Knowledge of import is highly desirable, along with CIPS qualification. Excellent Administration skills are essential, as well as being highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills
