An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council. This is a temporary Social Worker position in the Children with Disability Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
Within this role you will be responsible for assessing the needs of disabled children and their families.
You will also be working with Children with Disability services to provide outcomes that minimise the effects of the child's disability in order to improve their quality of life.
Within this role you will also attend a variety of meetings in order to plan and assess, to reach the best possible outcome for the child.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be HCPC registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role
