Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Pay Rate: 12.50 per hour
About the Opportunity
We are proud to be partnering with a prestigious corporate client in Glasgow to recruit a Temporary Receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to join a high-performing team and represent a well-respected organisation at the front line of their business.
Key Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, you will play a vital role in delivering a seamless and professional front-of-house experience. Your duties will include:
* Welcoming guests and clients with a polished and courteous manner
* Managing a busy phone line and directing calls appropriately
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional reception area
* Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparing rooms as required
* Providing administrative support to internal departments as needed
* Ensuring all visitors are signed in and comply with security protocols
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a confident and capable individual who thrives in a corporate environment and understands the importance of first impressions. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within a corporate setting
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* A professional appearance and demeanour
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* The ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
