An opening exists for a Procurement Category Officer to join the NHS Shared Services - Procurement Services team, providing support to all Health Boards and Trusts across Wales. The successful candidate will, after an induction period, assist the Category Manager in maximizing opportunities, rationalization, and ensuring value for money from demand identification to contract award and publication, in line with the category contract programme and relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will have office experience, an understanding of basic purchasing principles, keen analytical skills, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
While speaking Welsh is desirable, applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
