We're looking for a proactive, hands‑on IT Manager to take ownership of our internal IT operations, infrastructure, organisational security, and day‑to‑day technical operations.
This role is ideal for a generalist, capable of high‑level infrastructure planning for new buildings & facilities, but is equally comfortable troubleshooting physical hardware and assisting with front‑line issues.

Infrastructure & Network Management
* Maintain and optimise multi‑site connectivity, including fire wall configurations, VPNs, and site‑to‑site Wi‑Fi performance.
* Oversee the business communication suite, including VOIP telephony systems and mobile account management.
* Manage the core cloud productivity suite, including directory services, email flow, file‑sharing permissions, and license optimisation.
* Responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM) across all company software and hardware.
Security & Compliance (Physical & Digital)
* Full ownership of Physical Security systems, including biometric access control and CCTV networks across all sites.
* Act as a primary key holder and the first point of contact for out‑of‑hours alarm escalations.
* Act as the primary lead for organisational Security. This includes defending against human‑risk vulnerabilities such as phishing, email impersonation, and identity theft. You will manage the tools and training necessary to keep our staff and internal data safe.
* Line‑manage and support the IT Support Technician, ensuring high standards for ticket resolution and user satisfaction.
* Ensure the reliability of business‑critical operational hardware, including industrial labeling equipment and warehouse provisioning stations.
* Oversee the end‑to‑end provisioning process for all staff hardware (laptops, desktops, and developer‑spec machines).
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
* Plan ownership: Accountable for the maintenance, and regular testing of the IT Disaster Recovery Plan. This includes data backup integrity, off‑site storage, and 'failover' procedures for critical sites.
* Incident response: Lead the technical response during major outages (e.g., total loss of connectivity or hardware failure).
* Risk assessment: Regularly audit internal systems to identify single points of failure within the physical infrastructure landscape and propose redundancy solutions.
* Escalation management: Serve as a key point of technical escalation for critical system failures, ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed of recovery timelines.
* Manage the IT budget and procurement process for all hardware and software.
* Act as the primary point of contact for external technical vendors and service providers.
* Conduct regular audits of software subscriptions to ensure cost‑efficiency and security compliance.
What we're looking for
* Strong experience managing multi‑site infrastructure and network security.
* Proven background in implementing and maintaining business‑wide security protocols.
* Deep understanding of enterprise cloud administration and identity management.
* Experience leading or mentoring junior IT staff.
* Comfortable working with both physical and digital infrastructure.
* Able to manage priorities independently and make informed technical purchasing decisions.
* Experience with CCTV, access control systems, or physical security infrastructure.
* Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and business continuity frameworks.
* Familiarity with warehouse or operational technology environments.
* Experience working in fast‑paced multi‑site organisations.
Why Join us?
