Reports to: Head of infrastructure and IS
Location: Leicester (travel to Nottingham site required, access to a car is essential)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with occasional out-of-hours and weekend work.
Yü Group Plc is a leading energy supplier in the UK, committed to providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking an IT Technician to work primarily at our Innovation Centre in Nottingham, with some travel to Leicester and other sites.
Responsibilities
* Handle IT support tickets promptly and professionally.
* Record support calls accurately in the ticketing system.
* Support client users with daily IT issues.
* Maintain business conferencing systems.
* Set up, install, and configure PCs, laptops, and mobile devices for internal users.
* Administer Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Manage M365 configurations and settings.
* Create user guides for colleagues and users.
* Manage assets and assist with site moves and equipment relocations.
* Work with Helpdesk ticketing systems and adhere to SLAs.
* Support renewal of ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.

* Knowledge of anti-virus/anti-malware solutions.
* Experience with mobile device management.
* Ability to install and troubleshoot software.
* Exposure to MS Intune, Autopilot, Entra is advantageous.
* Driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits are required.
