Associate Director – Commercial Development

Key responsibilities
* Lead a programme of commercial development aligned to Trust strategy and long‑term financial sustainability.
* Build, negotiate and manage partnerships—particularly those with a commercial or health‑sector focus.
* Ensure financial and strategic benefits are clearly defined, delivered and measured.
* Support multidisciplinary teams to execute projects and embed new services.
* Provide targeted input into adjacent commercial areas such as international advisory services and education as these teams build their capability.
Essential qualifications and experience
* Relevant experience developing new services and partnerships with external stakeholders and contract negotiation.
* Experience preparing and writing clear, persuasive papers to relevant decision‑making governance groups.
* Ability to engage senior clinical, financial and operational leaders (both internally and at partner organisations), including board‑level Executive Directors.
