As a Copart Vehicle Image Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for preparing engineer’s reports for insurance companies.
Your duties include reviewing documents related to physical damage, vehicle details, images, and other vital information, making necessary amendments.
You will conduct market research to determine the vehicle's market value, considering factors like mileage, previous damage, HPI data, and more. You will assign salvage categories following the ABI Code of Practice and company guidelines.
You must adhere to our Service Level Agreements and follow established processes. Training on our report writing systems will be provided.
This is a remote role, working from home, with possible attendance at our Head Office or Operation Centre.
Requirements:
* Membership or willingness to enroll in professional bodies such as MIMI, IAEA, or IRTE; familiarity with insurance claims procedures.
* Ability to interpret vehicle damage and use repair estimating systems.
* Experience with motor vehicles and repair methods.
* Knowledge of VDA, estimating, and valuation tools like Glass’, CAP, Audatex, and HPI.
* Understanding of legal vehicle requirements under the Road Traffic Act.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
