About the Role: Our client is seeking hardworking, experienced Welders/Fabricators to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production of cranes and heavy lifting equipment. Details: Working hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm (6am - 6pm with overtime) Salary: £16.00 per hour up to 37 hours, overtime £24.00 per hour. Up to 60 hours a week available. Location: North Wales Opportunity for securing a permanent contract Duties: Liaising with the engineering foreman and works manager regarding work and carrying out the tasks using the relevant work instructions, technical documentation and risk assessments. Working so that productive time is fully utilised by ensuring that shifts start promptly and continue for the allocated time and that breaks are kept to designated length. Liaising with other employees to work for the common company good. Carrying out fabrication, welding and other work in the workshop or on client’s sites. Monitoring equipment and reporting breakdowns or breakages to the foreman or works manager promptly so that risk to other personnel and production disruption is kept to a minimum. Working with regard to own and other persons safety at all times. Reporting any unsafe incident, near miss, practice, equipment or employee to the foreman or works manager. Performing quality control inspections on own work and cross-checking other work at times also completing work traceability documentation. Experience required: Able to work from drawings and instructions. 2 - 3 years welding/fabricator experience is essential Strong manual dexterity and practical skills. Experience working from written instructions and manuals. Willingness to learn and follow safety and productivity standards.
