Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified Teacher of ICT/Business Studies to join a ‘good’ secondary school in Warrington. The school has consistently been proud of many years of student’s excellent performance on all of its courses. You will be teaching KS3 ICT and KS4 BTEC Business Studies
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10. Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
11. Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT,, QTS, etc) in Maths
12. Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
13. Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
14. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
15. Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
16. Hold Right to Work in the UK
17. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £
18. Provide a minimum of two professional references
