Rate: £420-£450 per day
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering support across drainage and earthworks packages, ensuring work is carried out safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out and engineering control for drainage and earthworks operations
Managing daily site activities and ensuring works comply with design and technical standards
Producing and maintaining accurate site records, as-built drawings, and reports
Working closely with the project team to resolve technical issues
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Liaising with subcontractors and providing technical support
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience on major highways or civil engineering projects
Strong background in drainage and earthworks
Proficient with 2D software and CAD
Strong understanding of design drawings and technical specifications
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to start immediately
