Field Technician The Musco Europe Field Services Team is excited to announce an opening for a Field Technician at our Bolton, UK office. This position will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and inspection of Musco�s product in the field while safely operating equipment. Essential Criteria: Post-GCSE education (trade school or degree) in mechanical or electrical trades or equivalent experience preferred An electrical license or the ability to obtain an electrical license is preferred Ability to obtain and maintain a full car license is required, ability and willingness to obtain an HGV/LGV license is preferred Basic electrical and mechanical skills and knowledge required Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks Ability to work from heights between 12 and 36 meters tall using aerial lifts, or by climbing with approved fall protection equipment required. Occasional servicing of heights over 36 meters may be required. Extensive travel within the UK, and occasional travel throughout Europe (180-200 days per year total) is required. Team members will be required to drive Musco vehicle to job sites and/or fly based on the location of the site. Weekend, night work, long and odd hours are necessary at times. Work will be mostly outdoors in elements including heat, cold, and rain. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and Musco product Fine-tune lighting projects, which will require working from ladders, working in aerial lifts at the top of lighting poles, and climbing light poles and/or towers Install Musco�s controls product on new or existing projects Coordinate time frames for projects with customers, vendors, equipment and people resources for assigned projects Maintain consistent communication with Sr. Project Manager and Construction Services Coordinator regarding daily work duties and schedules Provide detailed written field reports and completion of required paperwork Provide on-site leadership to crew when needed and coordinate issues with vendors and customers on projects where the Project Management team has assigned responsibility Drive and operate Musco equipment on service projects, which may require obtaining specialty licensure Make solid daily expense-related (financial) decisions, approve invoices, communicate details on progress billings to credit department as they relate to projects, close out projects (obtain customer sign off/approval) Who is Musco: Musco is the world leader in sports and large-area lighting, providing innovative solutions for projects in more than 125 countries.
