Job Title: HLTA Primary Location: Rainham Salary: £90 – £130 per day (Depending on experience) Start: September 2025 (or earlier if available) Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step? GSL Education are in search of a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Rainham. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and structured lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher. Support the academic and emotional development of pupils, both 1:1 and in small groups. Plan and prepare activities in line with the curriculum. Assist with assessments, classroom management, and targeted interventions. Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support learning outcomes. Contribute positively to the wider school environment and school events. Job Requirements: HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Ability to lead a class and manage behaviour effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A nurturing and resilient approach to working with children. Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Why Join GSL Education?
