Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant's own home.

Relief Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
Personal assistant required for a 13 year old boy living in Llandaff North, Cardiff. He has a diagnosis of Autism and associated learning and communication difficulties. He needs 2:1 due to his limited communication skills and he can display challenging behaviour However, he likes going out and will enjoy accessing the community with support.
HOURS OF WORK

TASKS INVOLVED
Support out in the community to activities he enjoys such as going to the park, swimming, visiting the city centre. He loves cars and going for food at KFC or dominoes.
Ensure his safety at all times especially near busy roads as he has no awareness of danger

Friendly and Sociable
Car driver is essential
Bengali speaking is desirable
