We are seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner to join phs Group, the UK's leading hygiene services provider. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing proactive financial analysis and advice to management on operational and commercial issues, including pricing, investments, acquisitions, business cases, and cost tracking.
* Assisting management in developing the business profitably within approved plans.
* Delivering clear management information, interpreting variances, trends, and operational performance implications.
* Supporting budget preparation, monthly trading packs, and presenting results to senior leadership.
* Coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes with meaningful analysis and commentary.
* Maintaining a robust financial control environment with accurate systems and reporting.
* Collaborating on pricing policies and operational efficiencies to enhance profitability.
* Working with credit control and sales teams to meet targets.
The ideal candidate
* Is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), based in the Midlands.
* Has experience as a Business Partner within a senior management team, understanding key business drivers.
* Possesses hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Has a track record of sustaining profitability and using KPIs to identify issues early.
* Demonstrates commercial awareness, risk evaluation, and good financial conduct.
* Possesses exceptional communication skills and builds strong relationships with senior managers.
* Maintains an open, honest approach with constructive challenge capabilities.
* Has a broad financial management background in a multi-site B2B service organization.
