Design Manager – Infrastructure Projects Location: Surrey Rate: £350 - £450 per day (Outside IR35 considered) Duration: 12 months Start: ASAP We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to support the delivery of major civil engineering and MEICA infrastructure projects. This contract sits at the critical interface between pre-construction, design, procurement and project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are fully developed from a design, procurement and delivery perspective before construction begins on site. The focus of the role is to ensure that target costs, risk registers and delivery plans are robust during the early phases of a project, while also ensuring design development supports programme certainty and commercial performance. Working closely with pre-construction teams, designers, planners, procurement specialists and operational delivery teams, you will coordinate Civil and MEICA design development across complex infrastructure schemes. You will also manage the transition from pre-contract activities into delivery, ensuring a seamless handover and a fully developed project execution strategy.
