Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a structural engineer to join our dynamic team. The role will involve carrying out building surveys, preparing detailed structural reports, and supporting wider design and assessment work.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake structural inspections and building surveys on residential and commercial properties.
* Compile professional structural reports with clear indication of the issues and recommendations for the resolution.
* Assist in the design and assessment of building structures using AutoCAD.
* Conduct site visits and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure knowledge is always current with the latest revisions to the building regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
* Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Candidate Requirements
* BEng or MEng in Structural Engineering.
* Chartered or actively working toward chartership (ICE/IStructE).
* Knowledge of UK construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence and own car insured for business use – essential for site work.
* Professional, proactive, and eager to learn.
