Trainee Associate Surveyor - North Norfolk

Description:

Connells Survey & Valuation recognises the importance of nurturing the next generation of professional Surveyors. We have established an in-house, paid AssocRICS training program that provides structured training and ongoing support throughout your tenure with us. We believe that technical training should be complemented with practical, on-the-job experience, allowing trainees to shadow experienced Surveyors and participate in classroom sessions.

Our approach combines classroom learning, regular assessments, and practical experience to equip our Trainees with the skills necessary for a successful career as a Valuation Surveyor.

As a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor at Connells Survey and Valuation, one of the country's leading surveying firms, you will have opportunities for long-term career development, including genuine prospects for progression.

We offer a competitive package that includes a company car, comprehensive support to achieve AssocRICS qualification, ongoing post-qualification assistance, mentoring, and a structured career plan.

We seek individuals with a passion for residential property and surveying, along with commitment, loyalty, and a genuine desire to develop their surveying careers with us. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organisational abilities are essential.

To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Possess an RICS-accredited surveying-related degree, either graduate or postgraduate, including modules in valuation and/or building surveying, with at least one year of property-related work experience.
2. Hold an RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree, with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
3. Have a minimum of four years' property-related work experience at negotiator level or higher, in estate agency or relevant departments like asset management, LPA, or property management, involving direct caseload management and decision-making in property matters.
