Supply Reconciliation Specialist
6-month temporary contract with potential to extend
The Supply Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for reconciling month-end inventory and orders, with particular attention to returned and damaged stock. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy of our inventory records and supporting efficient supply chain operations. What You Will Do
* Support monthly inventory cycle but also fix historical issues
* Reconcile month-end inventory balances by verifying physical stock against system records, 3PL balances, inbound and outbound shipments – physical stock counts will be required
* For SKUs where quantities differ between SAP and 3PL, update SAP quantities accordingly.
* For SKUs present in 3PL records but missing in SAP, investigate the discrepancies and consult with relevant Supply Chain planners to determine appropriate actions.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, orders, and stock movements.
* Ensure inventory master data in SAP is accurate and up to date. For each SKU, reconcile stock status, expiry date, and storage location with 3PL and CMO records.
* Be part/support the Master Data project team to implement best practice master data processes
* Process and document returned and damaged stock, ensuring correct adjustments are made in inventory systems.
* Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, supply planning and finance teams to ensure smooth reconciliation processes.
* Prepare and maintain detailed reports of month-end reconciliation activities.
* Bi-weekly for Movianto UK
* Monthly for other 3PLs.
* Investigate and document any variances.
* Propose solutions or process improvements to prevent future discrepancies.
* Monitor and record order fulfilment status, including partial shipments and outstanding back orders.
* Identify trends in returns and damaged goods to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in periodic stock audits and participate in inventory control projects as required.
* Maintain a clear audit trail of all adjustments made in SAP, including reasons for changes and approvals obtained.
* Work closely with Finance to understand the impact of inventory discrepancies on financial reporting and ensure reconciled data supports month-end close processes.

What You Will Bring
Experience
* Previous experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a similar role.
* SAP knowledge
* Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
* Experience handling returned and damaged stock in a warehouse or retail environment.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable with conducting physical stock counts (if required to do so)
* Understanding of quality processes so they can easily manage returns and work with QA to chase if stock can be moved from quarantine to saleable again
* Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across departments.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Problem-solving attitude, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
