Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will support the service in delivering structured activities and assist in planning individual and group therapeutic interventions. You will build one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage participation and empower recovery.
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to assessing, monitoring, evaluating, and modifying structured activities to measure progress and ensure effectiveness.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will receive regional support and have access to training and online courses to support your career development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other MDT staff in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
* Supporting service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
* Maintaining accurate records in healthcare records.
Requirements:
* GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or relevant NVQ2.
* Experience in a similar environment, particularly in Mental Health.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
