Join our Team as a Volunteer! Are you passionate about helping people make positive changes in their lives? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our team supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use. Make a Difference in Your Community As a Harm Reduction & Recovery Support Volunteer , you will play a vital role in helping individuals stay safe, access support, and move towards recovery. No two days are the same, this is a rewarding opportunity to gain experience, build skills, and make a real impact in your local community. What you will be doing Providing non-judgmental advice and support around substance use and harm reduction Supporting needle and syringe programmes and promoting safe use practices Delivering overdose awareness and naloxone training Engaging with individuals in services and the community Promoting HIV and Hepatitis testing and safer sexual health options Encouraging people to access treatment and recovery services Assisting with outreach work and community engagement Supporting the team with assessments, risk management, and recovery planning Helping maintain a safe environment, including safe disposal of used equipment We are committed to creating an environment that respects and values diversity, with a positive and supportive culture where everyone feels welcome, empowered, and represented.
