Monday - Thursday 8:00-16:45 (12:30-13:00 unpaid lunch break)
Friday 8:00 - 12:30
37.5 hours per week

My client are looking for an Accounts Analyst to join them on a temporary basis for approx. 5 months initially, the successful candidate will have experience with FP&A software(SAP), advanced Excel skills and be familiar with Sage
Job Role Summary:
The Accounts Analyst s responsibilities include preparing financial reports, supporting accounts payables and receivables, supporting budgeting, forecasting, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring smooth operations of the financial department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform monthly reconciliations
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Assist with month end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Manage and track financial transactions and create financial reports
• Analyse and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance
• Work closely with the financial team to assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Analyse financial data and create reports for management
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyse fluctuations
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
• Research and resolve accounting issues including invoice discrepancies and other issues
• Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options
• Comply with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Protect organisation s value by keeping information confidential
JOB DESCRIPTION

Experience and Knowledge Requirements
• Proven work experience as an Accounts Analyst or similar role in the financial sector
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to handle large amounts of data
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Skills and Competency Requirements:
• Expert to use FP&A software (especially SAP), and familiar to SAGE and Visibility will be a plus.
• Has advanced Excel skills. VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Macros, PowerPoint
• Understands financial reporting and has strong analytical skills.
• Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels.
• Manages direct reports and leads a financial team.
• Excels at multi-tasking, organisation, and time management.
• Having the multi-cultural work experiences in the international company and coordination and cooperation experiences with financial share-service centre will be a big plus.
Qualifications:
• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA.
• Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs) are preferred.
