Overview
Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail? At eXPD8, we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Yeading area. You’ll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. You will be based in one area, with work opportunities across a variety of different stores.
You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role
This role will work across a variety of categories including Toys, Gift Cards, Household and more.
Working days and hours
Sunday: 5 hours. Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.
Responsibilities
* Compliance and Standards — follow merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
* Product Placement and Replenishment — arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
* Promotional and Point of Sale Setup — set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
* Strong communication and relationship building — build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
* Feedback — provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.
What makes you excellent
* Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to take ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions.
* Take pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
* Be comfortable with manual handling — move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
* Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
* Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus.
