Our client based in High Wycombe is currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent Finance Assistant. The role is to start immediately with a view to be made permanent in 4-6 weeks. Ideally you will work 20-25 hours per week however there is some flexibility in working more hours.
There is plenty of free parking available onsite.
Key responsibilities:
* Processing invoices
* Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
* Perform payment runs
* Process receipts and expenses
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Maintain customer records
* Assist with month end procedures
* Prepare reconciliations
* Support with preparation of monthly cost of sales calculations
* Maintain VAT records
* General administration support as and when required such as maintaining employee records
* Maintain accurate accounting systems
Ideally we are looking for:
* An AAT level 2 minimum
* Previous demonstrable accounting experience
* Strong attention to details in all work
* Good working knowledge of accounting systems, QuickBooks ideally
* Excellent knowledge of Excel
