Day-to-day of the role:
* Carry out repairs, maintenance, and installations in your specialist trade areas including plumbing, gas, electrical, and lifts.
* Utilise multi-trade skills to complete a wide range of tasks efficiently, often in a single visit.
* Respond to emergency repair needs, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
* Participate in new builds and refurbishment projects, applying your expertise to enhance community facilities.
* Manage job tasks and update records in real time using handheld devices.
* Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring tenant satisfaction with completed work.
* Mentor and support apprentices and trainees, fostering skill development within the team.
* Stay updated with the latest regulations and maintain relevant certifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Gas?
* Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial settings.
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using technology (e.g., tablets) for work management.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours or provide emergency cover.
