Accounts Assistant. Permanent role. Full time. Edgbaston, Birmingham. Paying £27,000-£30,000 Your new company A growing and dynamic property development company based in Edgbaston, Birmingham is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The company is known for delivering high-quality residential projects with care and precision and as the business continues to grow, they’re looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their collaborative team and support the Finance Controller. Established and well-respected property developerSupportive team culture with opportunities to get involved across the finance function Office-based role with free parking and flexitime options Your new role You’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function and play a key role in maintaining accurate records and assisting the Financial Controller. Manage and monitor the shared accounts inbox Accurately process and post supplier invoices Maintain purchase ledger records and perform supplier statement reconciliations Assist with monthly payment runs and bank reconciliations Support the Financial Controller with month-end preparation and ad hoc finance tasks Help maintain digital and physical finance filing systems Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment status What you'll need to succeed You’ll bring a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude. Previous experience in a similar finance/account’s role Good understanding of Purchase Ledger processes Competent with Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What you'll get in return In return, you'll be part of a hands-on, growing business where your contributions will be noticed and appreciated.
