We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor and Sports Coach to join our supportive school community. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to students’ confidence, engagement and success, both in the classroom and through sport and physical activity.
You will supervise classes during short-term teacher absence, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a calm, purposeful learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and engagement. The successful candidate will be confident covering a range of subjects, including Physical Education (PE) lessons, ensuring students remain motivated, active and focused on learning.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed.
• Has the confidence to lead classes across a range of subjects, including PE.
• Can engage and motivate students positively.
• Promotes high expectations of behaviour and learning.
• Has an enthusiasm for sport, physical activity and student wellbeing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sports coaching, teaching support or cover supervision, or for someone considering a career in education. The successful applicant will maintain a positive learning environment, support students to access the curriculum and manage behaviour effectively in the classroom and during PE activities.
