We are a nurturing, specialist setting for pupils with a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and associated difficulties. All young people at our school are between the ages of 11-16. The Role: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive. Work closely with a team of Teaching Assistants, therapists and pastoral staff. Contribute to the wider school community. Use a trauma-informed and relational approach to behaviour and learning. You will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A strong understanding of SEMH, Autism, trauma-informed practice, or experience in an alternative provision or specialist setting. A flexible, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset. The ability to build trusted relationships with pupils who may have experienced significant challenges in education.
